Showers give us a really safe and a very comfortable experience. However the shower becomes really important when they are used by the very vulnerable and elderly people in our society and of course children. Roehampton Plumbers are skilled tradesmen and can fit all appliances. The thermostatically controlled shower is quite a top item and definately the best option if money was not an issue. It operates by using an internally adjusted mechanism that alters the water temperature by increasing or decreasing the flow automatically. It stops the user from being scalded and gives an all round comfortable shower.

There are a few different control options, pipework connections and the material specifications for these showers. A Roehampton Plumber is a full trained craftsman. One option is for you to fit these showers and conceal the pipework in the bathroom or wet room walls. Its control valve is two rotary type dials, the first being the temperature setting, and the second for the flow of water from the ‘off’ position all the way through to full flow rate power. This is quite a sensible option if the wall is a partition wall, or plasterboard. If you need to fit this shower onto a solid wall, you will need to channel out the wall for the pipework. The second option is a chrome plated unit, which also includes the showers pipework, the showerhead and the body. This shower is fine for installation on solid or partition walls. The pipework for the hot water outlet will become very hot due to its chrome finish and should not really be used by young children or elderly folk. The control for this shower is a round dial or even a joystick, which lifts to switch on the water, the left and right for temperature tweeking. Chrome finishes will show lime scale and salt deposits over time so need to be cleaned regularly.
